Facilites/Pipeline Engineer(Bornstein Associates, Inc.), Array

Description Responsible for onshore pipeline design of oil & gas and water transmission projects. Must be able to independently design calculate, select and specify route selection, material specifications and coordinate preparation of drawings and calculations including pipeline alignment sheets, property plots, permit drawings, as well as piping plans and details for launchers, receivers, main line block valves stations etc elastic bend, wheel load, hot tap calculations and safety instruction sheets.

Must be able to supervise the execution of contracts from detail design through to construction support. Compile and issue timely, accurate and concise project progress reports. Participate in or lead pipeline project audits / reviews and HAZOP . Input to tendering, technical and commercial evaluations of pipeline materials.

Must have general project management skills to be able to Plan /Track/Deliver Projects. Experience on Saudi Aramco Projects is a plus. Qualifications Engineering graduate with extensive experience in cross country pipeline design, system hydraulics, pipeline safeguarding and control, pipeline pump station and tank farm design, engineering support to pipeline operations, maintenance, concept, process pipeline system project engineering and construction. 15 years experience in carrying out Pipeline Engineering & Design activities on basic and detailed engineering projects. Previous work with Oil & Gas EPC contractor or operator. Responsibilities: Control and monitor Detail and Construction Engineering disciplines and ensure pipeline design compliance with project specifications and FEED Ensure that scope of work is fulfilled within ALL the Pipeline Engineering design disciplines.

Ensure that FEED is updated as required. Review and make comments on, as leader, all design deliverables in due time, in particular ensuring that discipline engineers implement pipeline design codes and adhere to pipeline concepts.
