West Texas Gas is seeking a Pipeline Integrity Specialist (Transmission) for our compliance office in Amarillo, TX. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and further development of the company’s Transmission Integrity Management Program. The candidate must have excellent knowledge and skills within; Pipeline Regulations (Federal and State) and Pipeline Integrity Management Practices. In depth corrosion skills would be beneficial for the candidate. The candidate will work directly with the compliance department to integrate asset data with ongoing Federal and State compliance activities.
The position is a full time, permanent hire with benefits.
Education:
- Associates degree or higher
Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years Pipeline Experience
- DOT pipeline compliance and operations
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be willing to travel to field locations within our operations areas (Texas Panhandle, West Texas, South Texas, Oklahoma Panhandle and Southwest Kansas) Which includes overnight stays
