Manager, Portfolio Pipeline Management tools ▼ McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of McNeil PPC, Inc, a member of the Johnson and Johnsons family of companies is currently recruiting for a Manager, Portfolio Management, within the OTC Commercialization Division in Fort Washington, PA. OTC Commercialization is a division within McNeil Consumer Healthcare that encompasses Project Management and Portfolio Management. This team concentrates on operationalizing the strategic plan to meet business goals through enterprise leadership and general management thinking and communication. McNeil Consumer Healthcare Division of Mc NEIL -PPC, Inc markets a broad range of over-the-counter products, including TYLENOL® acetaminophen products, ZYRTEC® and BENADRYL® allergy medicines, IMODIUM® A-D anti-diarrheal, MOTRIN® IB, ROLAIDS® antacid products, ST. JOSEPH® Adult Regimen Aspirin, and SUDAFED® nasal decongestants. The Manager, Portfolio Management will be accountable for Portfolio leadership for the North American OTC business. This includes leading the organization toward attainment of business and strategic plans, clear communication of status and risks vs. plans and relevant constraints, enhancing project and process competencies, and driving strategic investment decision-making & prioritization. This individual will lead and influence decisions to fill the Pipeline and will drive decision making in governance forums. This individual will manage governance meetings, drive linkages between global projects and local execution, and help to create project links across regions. The Manager, Portfolio Management will also be accountable to own updates and reporting of company metrics related to the Pipeline and New Product Introductions providing analysis and commentary for business updates, governance forums, etc. This individual will also be responsible for co-op management and recruiting. The Manager, Portfolio Management will work closely with regional management boards and cross-functional leaders from dedicated and shared service functions to drive business results. This individual is a business leader capable of operating at multiple levels within the organization; from supporting project teams to strategic insight and analysis. This individual will contribute to assessment, optimization and prioritization of both franchise specific and business unit portfolios to influence decisions that best promote business needs when faced with conflicting priorities and/or constrained resources. Qualifications A Bachelors degree is required. A focused degree in Finance or Business Administration is preferred. A MBA would be a plus. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required. Experience in the OTC, Consumer products and/or pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Experience managing people is preferred. Experience with portfolio management at a franchise / business unit level is preferred. PMP or a Project Management certification is preferred. Experience with Process Excellence/Six Sigma tools, training and/or certification is preferred. This candidate must be familiar with project value forecasting, discounted cash flows and Net Present Value, Gross Margin, Breakeven, Payback, ROI, IRR, and Productivity Indices. Demonstrated advanced experience using Microsoft Excel is highly preferred. Excellent communication, verbal and written, and presentation skills are required. Influencing and negotiating skills are required. Demonstrated analytical skills including understanding of financial principles and how to leverage this knowledge to make sound business decisions and/or recommendations are required. The ability to manage multiple competing priorities is required. This position will require up to 10% domestic and international travel and will be based in Fort Washington, PA.
