Title: Manager, Project - Pipeline IntegrityLocation: Texas-HoustonEstablished in 1968, privately held Enterprise Products Company and its affiliates own significant equity interests in four publicly traded partnerships with a combined enterprise value of approximately $30 billion. The Project Manager within our Pipeline Integrity Department will be responsible for:* Responsible for managing pipeline make ready, assessment, and rehabilitation projects for assigned pipeline systems.

  • Work closely with operations control, safety, environmental, land, procurement, accounting, construction inspection, scheduling, commercial, corrosion control, and field operations while directing third party contractors and various inspection personnel to safety conduct integrity make ready, assessment and rehabilitation projects.
  • Prepare AFEs, job plans, piping modifications plans, material requisitions, work orders for services, cost tracking, budgeting, and monthly forecasting and accruals associated with integrity make ready, assessment and rehabilitation activities.
  • Review, validate and approve invoices within delegated authority limits.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
  • Provide technical support during the review of IMP processes and procedures to maintain consistency in assessment and rehabilitation practices.
  • Stay current with pipeline regulations, industry standards, integrity assessment methods, repair methods, and other applicable technologies.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • BS degree in engineering is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in pipeline Engineering, Operations, or equivalent is required.
  • Project Management experience is desired.
  • Excellent communications skills and computer skills including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of the various Federal and State pipeline regulations including Integrity Management regulations and industry standards.
  • Technical knowledge and practical working experience in pipeline operations and maintenance, pig running, integrity assessment methods, and defect assessment and repair methods.
