Network Technician (Pipeline)(General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical S), Array

Job Description:

This position provides operational ground support for mission critical systems. The right person will be able to support a 24X7 operations center working 12 hour shifts with 3. 5 days on 3. 5 days off. Maintains and operates small- to medium-sized networks. Analyzes, troubleshoots and monitors network components such as Microsoft Windows Server 20/2003/2008; UNIX / Linux; Microsoft Exchange 2003 and other mail applications (local and remote); Domain Controllers; Microsoft Active Directory; DHCP ; DNS; WINS ; router and switch configuration; firewalls VPNs; and CRYPTO devices.

Maintains and operates Wide Area Networks (WAN), Local Area Networks (LAN) and SIPR / NIPR networks. Provides technical and operational support for network infrastructure, routers, switches, sniffers and supporting hardware, databases and inside cable plant including backups; configuration management services; network security tasks; component and system repair.

Provides hardware and software upgrade services and training. Conducts technology review and evaluation. TS/SCI

Job Requirements:

0-2 Years with Bachelors Degree or equivalent professional work experience.
