 Our Corporate Sales Representative is responsible for selling Penske's pre-owned commercial vehicles within our Corporate Sales Center team. Our sales transactions are completed in an innovative manner via inbound and outbound phone calls amongst our vast existing customer base and new daily inquirers. Primary function is to receive inbound phone calls from new leads and existing customers and to convert those leads into sales opportunities. Position involves building customer relations, negotiating, overcoming objections, and entering call activity into CRM tool salesforce.com.


 


 Transportation or Trucking Industry experience is not required. As a member of our Vehicle Remarketing Team, you will receive in depth training on our systems and processes which will equip you with all the tools you will need to be highly successful in this unique and exciting Professional environment!

Major Responsibilities: 


 -Sell Penske commercial vehicles, Financing, and Extended Warranties


-Negotiating to obtain the best sales price


- Explaining sales procedures


-Finalizing sales transactions and related administrative work


-Managing existing customer accounts


-Handle incoming and outgoing sales and customer service calls in our busy Corporate Sales Center


-Conduct outbound calls as follow-up sales calls and new business opportunities


-Professional communication skills to interact with internal Penske departments and field locations


-Various duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the Call Center


 







-2 years of proven successful sales experience required

-2 years prior call center, telemarketing or customer service experience via phone required

-High school diploma or equivalent required

-Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred

-Flexibility required to work any schedule between 8AM and 8PM, possibility to work weekends preferred

-Professional telephone presence required

-Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal skills required

-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain accurate required

-Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, AS400

-Rental Net, Service Net, and Fleet Net experience preferred

-Willingness to work in a call center environment required

-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required
