Pipeline Design Engineer(Bornstein Associates, Inc.), Array

Job Summary: Position will develop detailed design specifications for construction and installation of natural gas pipelines. Actively participate in project team for design engineering as well as operations and maintenance support for midstream operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare specifications, construction, and installation packages for natural gas pipelines to include pipeline design, route selection, and installation of welded steel pipe.
• Correctly size steel pipe.
• Perform hydraulic analysis
• Design pipeline for urban installation using non-trench, horizontal drilling or conventional dry boring methods.

Education & Work Experience:: Minimum Requirements:

• BS Mechanical or Civil Engineering from accredited institution.
• 2 years experience in related field and industry.

Preferred:

• 5 years experience in related field and industry.
• Additional industry training in aforementioned skills.
• Natural gas pipeline experience preferred but will consider oil pipeline experience.
