Responsible for the safe and efficient repair and maintenance of equipment within the assigned asset. Essential duties and responsibilities:. Surveillance and maintenance of facilities. Follow all EHS procedures and practices. Be able to identify safety hazards. Maintain good standing with all required training. Respond to pipeline one call reports. Inspect pipeline and ROW condition. Attend third party pipeline crossings. Participate in pipeline public awareness programs and emergency drills. Respond to pipeline emergencies such as spills, outages, power failures, etc. Launch and receive pipeline scraper pigs. Maintain, repair, and operate valves and pumps. Assist with regulatory auditsPosition RequirementsMinimum requirements:Education:. High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience / specific knowledge:Certifications, licenses, registrations:. Maintain a satisfactory driving record as determined by the company and a current, valid State driver's license. Subject to random drug testing. Must pass applicable OQ tasks as requiredCompetencies, skills, and abilities:. Proficient with assigned core computer programs. Follow work procedures independently on less routine tasks or more complex equipment/processes. Ability to work from written or verbal instructions. Ability to properly prioritize tasks. Able to find, troubleshoot difficult problems, and develop solutions. Have the ability to train others. Ability to assist less-experienced operators with complex problems. Understand costs. Act as subject matter expert. Demonstrate understanding of processesPhysical demands:. Primarily outside work. Frequently lift and carry, unassisted, items weighing up to 50 pounds.
