Role Summary: The Senior Director, Talent Management and Pipeline Development is responsible for enterprise-wide talent management, which includes the annual talent planning process, CEO Talent Reviews, the pipeline development strategy and leading the team responsible for delivering high-potential programs and talent pipeline development initiatives. Additionally, this role will lead the design of high performing programs to sustain the development of Pfizer's diverse talent pipeline. The Senior Director will partner closely with the TOPS function and with the TOPS Leadership team to ensure alignment across D&I, culture and performance management strategies. The role reports to the Vice President, Talent Management and Development. Responsibilities: * Delivers comprehensive Talent Management and Pipeline Development strategy and philosophy * Designs and leads all aspects of the annual CEO Talent Review process including the preparation of the "Trends and Themes" report for ELT and BoD to identify challenges and solutions for Pfizer and drive thoughtful, robust discussions on developing talent to meet business needs * Oversees the smooth execution of the annual talent planning cycle including Global Talent Planning (GTP) system, process communications, manager training, stakeholder management and collaboration (e.g., DTOCs, HR Leads, MTAC) to ensure effective practices that support business results; Oversees smooth transition of the Talent Planning process into HR on Demand * Oversees team responsible for enterprise-wide high potential programs (strategy, design, implementation, facilitation and evaluation), including NextGen and LIFT programs as well as senior leader mentoring and executive coaching practice * Drives the development and sustainability of Pfizer's diverse talent pipeline * Drives high-touch talent management for ELT succession pool, including tracking CEO talent commitments and Chairman's Challenge program delivery * Accountable for schedule, budget and quality of programming and processes Qualifications: * A BA/BS from an accredited institution with experience successfully operating in a complex, global organization, with 10-15 years' experience in talent management, talent development and/or human resources required. * Advanced degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, Human Resource Management or related field preferred. * Capable of influencing key stakeholders using organizational knowledge, behavioral science principles and an understanding of critical business needs. * Have experience working with and designing programs to support an enterprise talent strategy for a global audience. * Must have strong interpersonal skills and an ability to establish and maintain credibility with senior individuals/audiences. * Should possess excellent project management, meeting facilitation and complex problem-solving skills, along with strong process skills. * Should be willing to learn the latest practices in talent management and development, leadership, training and organizational development. * Must be a strategic thinker and problem-solver * Ability to handle multiple priorities in a global environment and be flexible when faced with change. Past experience coaching senior executives is beneficial. * Have a passion for new ideas and a propensity for innovative thinking, self-motivated and results oriented.
