Northeast based utility company is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer responsible for managing the company's corrosion control program and maintaining compliance with DOT FERC regulations. Additional responsibilities:

Determining and then executing correct repair methodologies for any damage or corrosion that may be

discovered on the pipeline facilities;

  • Managing any other types of corrective projects performed on the pipeline facilities;
  • Specifying pipeline integrity requirements;
  • Performing HCA analysis;
  • Performing house count review;

Experience

Corrosion control systems, inline inspection technologies, pipeline integrity management practices, welding and non-destructive testing procedures and applications, pipeline operation, maintenance, and construction activities.

  • Pipeline repair methods and construction methodology
  • Project management techniques including: scope definition and control, execution strategy, cost

estimating and control, team organization and management, scheduling and schedule control

Requirements

Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering in Mechanical or Civil Engineering;

  • More than five
  • years of experience in the natural gas industry
  • Minimum three
  • years in corrosion control
  • Minimum two
  • years in welding and non destructive testing practices
  • Minimum two
  • years in managing code compliance and regulation interpretation
  • Minimum two
  • years using inline inspection technology.
