Sr Scinetist II - Pipeline ProjectsJob Code: 13562L ocation: TYLER , TX USJob Type: Full TimeCategory: Environmental SciencesPosition Summary :PBSJ Tyler office is seeking a seniorenvironmental scientist to serve as a pipeline specialist in supportof multiple clients. The pipeline specialist will work with a team ofecologists to prepare agency permit applications; conduct field work;coordinate and oversee the work of others, including contractors;work directly with a Project Manager to meet defined scope, scheduleand budget requirements for our clients.

Experience with preparation ofdocuments and presentations to assist clients with regulatory andpermitting requirements at the Federal, State and Local levels are amust. This person mayalso help facilitate meetings and coordinate communications withclients, regulatory agencies, local stakeholders and the public.

Applicant must have theability to handle fast and last minute deadlines by the client andthe ability to manage projects. Field work may be performed under difficult conditionsincluding heat, cold, humidity, rain, snow, rough terrain and heavybrush. Other similarduties will be assigned as necessary.

RequirementsDesired individual will have a B. Sdegree in the field of Science with 7-10 years of proven pipelineexperience. Experience with GPS and GIS equipment and software, ATVs and4WD vehicles is required. Proven analytical skills, technical writing, computer, andcommunications with clients and agencies such as the USACE , USFWS , TCEQ , NRCS , EPA and other state and local agencies greatly desired.
