AECOM is seeking a Senior Pipeline Engineer or Project Manager to work in our Orange County, Florida office. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the design of pipelines for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems with diameters greater than 16 inches.

Also, you'll manage budgets, schedules, and coordination of work, including internal staff and subcontractors. Ideal Candidate's experience will include a combination of project management and project engineering responsibilities in preliminary design, final design, permitting and construction administration.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 12 years of progressive civil engineering project experience of which 7 years needed in designing large diameter storm, water, sewer and related structures pipelines.
  • Experience with trenchless technology
  • Experience with cross country water supply and reclaimed water pipelines and pumping stations, involving pipelines with diameters of at least 24 inches.
  • Must have experience with state and local permitting requirements, mapping, pipeline alignments, sizing, interconnects, and road and water crossings.
  • Demonstrated successful project management experience in directing the work of others, meeting deadlines and budgets, and have an ability to manage multiple activities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation.
  • Must be a registered Professional Engineer. Please include with your resume details of at least five pipeline projects that you were either the project manager or project engineer and were involved with from preliminary design through to construction. These projects should all have been completed within the last 10 years.
