CDI CORP is seeking to hire an experienced Project Engineer with field pipeline design and engineering experience.

Position located in Canonsburg, PA. NOTE: Seeking local candidates.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities include but are not limited to:

• Pipeline design- vlave station/ launcher receivers/ mainline (ANSI150/600/900) hydrocarbon gas and liquids.
• Develop BOMs associated with new projects.
• Hydro-test design and MAOP/MOP determinations.
• Assist w/ modeling of the system, system designs, material specifications, hydro-test designs, and document controls.
• Coordinate w/ and support associated teams- pipeline construction, compression construction, plant construction, operations, pipeline integrity, land department, procurement department.
• Participate in pieline routing efforts.
• Lead materials bid efforts.
• Responsible for preparation of routine project status updates.
• Field/project site visits as needed

Qualifications & Skills:

• 5+ years of applicable experience (design, engineering, field engineering).
• Minimum of a BS from a 4 yr accredited college program.
• Strong knowledge of pipeline design and modeling (such as FEKETE,VMG, YSYS or other).
• Working knowledge of 40CFR parts 192 & 195, and PHMSA regulations.
• Working knowledge of applicable API and ASME Standards.
• Thorough knowledge of pipeline construction techniques.
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.  Communication very important.
• Proficient w/ Microsoft Office Suite, CADWorx
• Coordinate, prioritze, and execute many tasks at once. 
• Current valid driver's license required
